Sunday 8th December    10am-1:30pm

North Yorkshire Water Park – Wykeham Lakes

Mental Elf is the first Christmas Fun Run that SWR Mind has hosted. We are very excited to bring this fundraiser to life and make it an annual event.

Mental Elf will consist of a 5k and 2.5k fun run (which can be ran, walked, skipped or jumped if you like!) It is open to all, that means bring along your friends, family, kids and even pets!

Your ticket to the event will include elf ears/hat, a goodie bag and of course a very special Mental Elf 2024 medal. You also have the chance to purchase a one-of-a-kind Mental Elf 2024 Charity T-shirt.

We have much more planned for the day aside from the fun runs. You will have the chance to visit Santa’s workshop, paint your own bauble and write your special letter to Santa, get a picture on his sleigh, have a look around some of our charity stalls, collect some goodies and walk around our Christmas Village. We will also have a number of fancy dress competitions (Best Costume, Best Pet Costume and Best Family Fancy Dress) so please do look out your best Christmas outfits!

Our family friendly 2.5k will include a ‘Spot the Naughty Elf’ activity for the kids where they will also be able to collect some goodies en route!

Fancy dress is encouraged for this event but absolutely not required.

Fundraising

We would like to encourage everyone taking part to try and raise £20 sponsorship for your participation (but this is not a requirement for taking part in the event).

You can set up a fundraising page on Just Giving and select Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind as your chosen charity to support.
